If you believe that a link in our search results points to content that infringes your copyright, we recommend the following steps:

Step 1: Contact the Hosting Website

Since we do not host any files, the most effective way to remove infringing content is to contact the website that actually hosts the PDF file. The hosting domain is displayed on each search result in our index. Filing a DMCA notice directly with the hosting provider will result in the file being removed at its source.

Step 2: Request Removal from Our Index

If you would also like the link removed from our search index, you may send a DMCA takedown notice to us. Upon receiving a valid notice, we will promptly remove the link from our search results.

To submit a valid DMCA takedown notice, please send an email to [email protected] with the following information:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work — A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
2. Identification of the infringing link — The specific URL(s) on PDFResources.com where the infringing link appears, or the URL of the PDF document you want removed from our index.
3. Your contact information — Your name, email address, mailing address, and telephone number.
4. Good faith statement — A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

We aim to process valid DMCA takedown notices expeditiously, typically within 1-3 business days of receipt. Once processed, the specified link(s) will be removed from our search index. Please note that removing a link from our index does not remove the file from the internet — you must contact the hosting website to have the actual file removed.

If you believe that a link was removed from our index in error, you may file a counter-notification by sending an email to [email protected] with the following:

1. Identification of the link that was removed
2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the link was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
3. Your name, address, and telephone number
4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and that you will accept service of process from the complainant
5. Your physical or electronic signature

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will promptly forward it to the original complainant and may restore the removed link within 10-14 business days unless we receive notice that the original complainant has filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.

We maintain a policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the access of users or links associated with sources that are repeat infringers of copyright. Upon receiving three valid DMCA takedown notices regarding the same hosting domain, we will permanently block that domain from appearing in our search results.

We also reserve the right to remove any link or block any domain at our sole discretion if we have reason to believe it is consistently used to host or distribute infringing content.
